great views but minor comfort issues
The mountain views from my room were breathtaking! ! The welcoming nature of the landlord made us feel at home right away. Breakfast was delightful, featuring fresh ingredients and a cozy atmosphere.
Comfort could have been improved slightly.

The location is lovely with gorgeous views, and the breakfast offered an excellent selection, perfectly cooked. some staff members were quite rude, even greeting guests with an unwelcoming 'Who are you? ' which dampened the experience. It's such a shame given the charming setting.

Comfortable Stay with Lovely Views
We enjoyed a peaceful night in a well-kept quadruple room. The view of the river from our window was breathtaking. For dinner, a hidden gem restaurant was nearby, serving fantastic meals. Just a heads-up, the milk containers at breakfast were tricky to open.

A great fit for an overnight stop in Strachan with good value for money. The manager helped us with our luggage, which made our stay smoother. Warning for others, the fire door on the first floor can be tough to open.

Lovely stay with beautiful views!
We spent 4 nights in a comfy twin room. The owners were super friendly, and the breakfast was delish, especially the fresh fruit salad. Plus, the scenery around the river was stunning. Only thing was the sliced white bread for brekkie—kinda basic. Still, the picnic area outside was a nice touch for chilling after a day exploring.
